The OSHA limit is 90 decibels. OSHA states that any environment over 90 decibels for extended periods of time (8 hours) is harmful. How long do you ride in your sxs? Based on our measured results all SXS’s are over the 90 decibel limit at some RPM or speed. TheCOM can reduce the ambient noise by up to 25 decibels. This moves the threshold to below the OSHA limit saving your ears from damage.
