Build your ideal Kawasaki KRX communication system with the ultimate in feature control found nowhere else online. For additional information see our new customer training or install examples.
Whether this is your first experience with using communications or you’re an experienced guru, you will get to select exactly what you want.
Note: Audio volume coming into the intercom is controlled by the source device. We have noticed that the iPhone is significantly quitter than the Android devices. The following link will give you a couple of options to try to increase the Bluetooth volume from the iPhone: https://utvcom.com/issue-resolution/
Install tips:
The bracket will fit in the cubby without cutting. You will need about a ¾” diameter hole for the coax (drilled right behind the PL259 connector on the radio is best) then another smaller ½” hole for the power leads to fit through (because of the terminal are so big). An additional hole for the headset wires and PTT usually near the back of the intercom. If you want to cut the whole thing out you can I have just always drilled holes to keep the box some what contained. Do not run the power wire through the same hole as the coax, keep them separated. We recommend installing a grommets (or use wire loom) where wires pass through or at a minimum wrap the wires in some additional insulation like electrical tape. If you watch our other install examples you will have a good idea how to install TheCOM. If you have any questions please contact us. We will strive to get a video up soon.
